Southwestern College

Southwestern College, located in the City of Chula Vista in San Diego County (www.swccd.edu) is a diverse campus with a highly effective transfer program, supportive faculty, and staff and learning communities that focus on both the university transfer and the African American experience. Two-thirds of African-American students who are prepared to attend a community college earn a degree or transfer to a four-year college, compared to only 35% who are not. The more support a student has the more likely he or she is to complete a degree.
